This specification details Thermal Wire and Cable Corporation's multi-conductor UL listed tray cables utilizing Du Pont Teflon® insulation and jacket. Tray cables conform to NEC Article’s 318 (cable trays) and 340 (Power and control cables type TC) of the national electrical code and subject 1277 of underwriters laboratories, Inc.

Cables insulated with Du Pont Teflon have proven to exceed the requirements of the 70,000 BTU "Cable Tray Propagation Test" per IEEE-383 and passes UL VW-1 Flame propagation test. Rated 90°C dry or damp locations and 200°C special applications. OSHA Acceptable. Recognized for use in NEC Paragraph 501-4(b) Class 1 Division 2 hazardous locations.

Thermal Wire and Cable TC cables provide an excellent combination of properties including: Heat resistance to 200°C, Chemical inertness, low coefficient of friction, non-stick characteristics, weather resistance, low temperature flexibility and reduced diameter. Available with galvanized steel armor, aluminum interlocked armor, or CLX armor. Optional FEP jacket extrusion over armor.

Available in sizes 18 AWG through 4 AWG in conductor counts from 2 to 100 or pairs, triads or thermocouple alloys.
